NF D60-013 Standard Method for Flammability Test for Seat

This standard is based on the draft EN 1021-3 standard, which was not eventually accepted as a European standard. Briefly, the NF D60-013 standard describes the flammability requirements for seats and defines a test method.

Briefly, the NF D60-013 standard includes a protocol for the evaluation of the flammability of upholstered furniture. The test method described is intended to evaluate the fire behavior of padding/envelope combinations used for upholstered seats when exposed to an ignition source equivalent to a burning 20 gram paper pillow.
