EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of SATRA TM63 test standard. This test method is intended to determine the resistance of soles of shoes worn in engineering workshops and similar environments to oils and other similar contaminants. The method is mainly applicable to polymeric shoe soles, but can also be used for leather.
Test samples are cut from the base materials to be tested and their volumes are measured. The test samples are then immersed in the oil of interest for a specified period of time. When the test samples are removed from the oil, the volumes are measured again and any changes recorded.
